F*ing Fridays are back!
And, they will continue to occur on Friday. I mentioned some of my favorite F words back on Day 5 in Year 1, including: Fearless, Fabulous, Fine, Fun, Faith, Freedom, Forgiveness, to name a Few.
Last week I dove into the word Fill.
Today’s F*ing Friday is dedicated to the word:
As in, fudging it.
I am feeling better!
Even though I have a few coughs hanging around I am officially putting the first f*ing flu bug of the year behind me.
There’s just one thing I’m not sure what to do with — the two pints of ice cream left in the freezer.
It’s dairy free. (love).
It’s soy free (love).
It was the perfect remedy for an achy throat.
But, it’s not sugar free (drat).
While the soft creamy dessert fit into my self-care regimen for the last week as I soothed away my sore throat, it doesn’t fit into my promise to take care of this body of mine.
But, it’s too good to throw out.
Hum. …What would you do?
I am going to take someone else’s advice on this one.
Donna Eden to be exact. I once heard the energy medicine guru herself give advice on eating foods that may not be best for your body. Her wise words were simply this: “Make sure you LOVE it. Put lots of love into in before you put it into your body.”
So I’m going to grant myself permission to fudge on this one.
And eat it! (With lots of love of course!)
Plus, I’m starting a cleanse next week.
So I am going to love this dairy-free, soy-free ice cream down to the very last melted drop! And then, I’m back to the sugar-free zone.
If you want another type of sugar rush, check out this fabulous preview of Valentino’s – Haute Couture line up for Fall Winter 2011/2012, sent to me by Debi Lilly. I especially love the red dress. It makes me giddy just thinking of my first shopping trip with Holly Getty (which is in the works, stay tuned!).
Speaking of people I love…
I am incredibly GRATEFUL to YOU. Thank you for your notes, emails and well wishes over this past week. Thank you from the bottom of my head, heart, body and soul.
It made all the difference. You made my week much sweeter.
