F*ing Fridays are back!
And, they will continue to occur on Friday. I mentioned some of my favorite F words back on Day 5 in Year 1, including: Fearless, Fabulous, Fine, Fun, Faith, Freedom, Forgiveness, to name a Few.
Last week I dove into the word Fried Foods.
Today’s F*ing Friday is dedicated to the word:
As in, we all fit in the car.
After days of packing, storing, moving, we finally all found our seats in the car to begin our journey north for the summer.
We expected the ride to be tight and a little uncomfortable, but we didn’t expect the littlest one to vomit all over the car — one hour into the drive.
I turned around just in time to see a little dog nose heaving up and down. Just before the chunks began to burst, I froze. Then I screamed, “Oh my God!” at the top of my lungs as I watched brown chunks descend down between my clothing bags and into the crevices and floorboards of my car.
All of which alarmed Justin, who was driving and couldn’t see what was going on — I’m sure he thought something quite awful was happening like a roadside pile-up instead of just a little doggy vomit pile-up.
I gagged, but found a plastic bag and clean up the f*ing mess, all the while Justin laughing hysterically at my passenger predicament. And to think, I was worried about the tail-end in the car.
Brady may not remember this car ride, but we will — forever.
Just as we’ll always love our little one.
