Day 164: the grand canyon, outdoors unlimited and cold feet

13 Jun

Tomorrow we leave for that big crevice in the earth…
…the Grand Canyon.

I can hardly believe this dream-come-true trip is happening!

It’s also hard to imagine a better time for it– in the middle of my lovemore/fearless year. It will allow me to face my fear of the water — head on.

We will be rafting with Justin’s family, the Davis Family, guided by Outdoors Unlimited.

We are so over-the-moon grateful to those who made this trip happen for us.

And, before we even leave, I have a feeling this is a life-changing sort of experience. So, to be fully prepared, I bought myself some neoprene booties to keep my tootsies warm — because who wants to hear about my cold feet on a once-in-a-lifetime trip?

Just a few more errands to run in the morning and then we are all ready to go.

There’s only one catch — I can’t blog in a raft on the Colorado River.
So, I have a few tricks up my sleeve which I will announce tomorrow.

Stay tuned!

Lovemore,
xo~
Jamie

The GC IS transformative! Went there in April and it changed my perspective on natural perfection. Arizona may have politics I disagree with, but there’s nothing wrong with its nature. ENJOY!
