My brain hurts.
I just read through Brain Pickings, delivered on Sunday, and every week it hurts my head. In this world of overstimulation, I think it’s just too much data all in one place.
But, I am addicted to it.

The skinny? Music stimulates arousal, which then causes a release of dopamine in the body. So, basically, music chemically alters our bodies and makes us feel great. And, it’s addictive too.
So, there you have it.
Now, I know why that song on the radio haunts me. And, why the girls go crazy over One Direction. They can’t help it, it’s an addiction.
Drat.
Now, I can’t get that song out of my pounding head.
