What motivates you my dear?
I pondered this today as I prepared my GIFT OF THE DAY.
It was a simple but special little gift from my heart.
Well four gifts, actually.
In the form of four Thank You Letters.
I know, a little sappy.
But that’s me.
I mean, honestly, what’s better than good old fashioned MAIL in this tech-ridden day and digital age?
Well, maybe a STAMP.
Whoooo weeeee!
I love a stamp.
I love the stamps that go on mail and I love a stamp of approval too.
It’s intoxicating isn’t it — the STAMP of approval.
I’ve had to let go of my tried and true stamps of approval over these last few years of making this promise to myself. The stamp of the right clothes, the right look, the right way to live and act, the right way to write…. the right, right, right, right!
As I launch this year of ABUNDANCE (yay!) I am reflecting on acceptance.
And, that age old question WHY?
Why do I want abundance?
Why? Why? Why?
I have a sneaking suspicion that the one word question WHY is actually the magic word for everything. If we don’t know WHY, how can we ever find the HOW?
I think it’s a good question to ask as we all launch this new year.
Or maybe scream from the roof top….
Or sing in the shower…
Or whisper under your breath…
Why?
Why?
Why?
