GIFT DAY 040: snow day

The storm is now over and we await news on our little seaside town.

Word online is that everyone is without power in Scituate.
I am constantly monitoring Twitter to get the latest scoop and checking in with televised news.

Hoping everyone is safe and dry.

While we wait, here’s a few pictures from around here:

Justin made a snow angel.

I braved the cold for a photo.

We woke up to a winterland of sparkly white.

AND… we definitely received an abundance of snow!

The gift of today seems to be that of a storm coming to an end and hope that everyone is safe and warm.

Tons of snow! WOW! Cool snow Angel. I love to take pictures of the snow on the aspen and pine trees on my property.I love to make a fire in our woodstove! Stay safe! Love, Mary

Hi, I'm Jamie. This blog started on January 1, 2011. ...because I made a promise to myself.

I did not purchase clothes or shoes or other frivolous things (things I love mind you) for an entire year and wrote about it every single day. For 365 Days. Now, I am on year three!

Year 1: No Shopping
I began by making a promise in 2011 to not shop for one entire year and instead invest in my head, heart, body & soul — and I did it! The Promise Process© unlocked such an amazing power inside of me I continued my journey even deeper the next year.

Year 2: Lovemore+Fearless
2012 sent me rafting down the Colorado River in the Grand Canyon where I slept next to scorpions. I tossed my old engagement ring in a fountain in Paris, and swam with sharks in the Bahamas. In the end, I learned more about LOVE than fear.

Year 3: Abundance
Part of my journey this year is to dive deep into abundance which includes giving away a gift a day. I hope you come along for the ride!

I do hope you join me in making promises and reaching your goals.
