First… here’s my abundance photo of the day.
It’s amazing what happens when you start looking for abundance.
Yesterday in the airport I heard my name over the loudspeaker. “Passenger Jamie Eslinger, please report to the gate.”
As soon as I heard my name I checked my ticket. Was I late for the plane? Was I at the wrong gate?
Nope. They wanted to upgrade me to an exit row with more legroom because they accidentally gave my assigned seat away.
Then, while on the plane headed home, someone said out loud… “Jamie?”
I looked up. It was my friend Taryn from Cottey College. She just happened to be traveling to Grants Pass, Oregon for a meeting. On the same plane as me!
We had dinner tonight and it was so fun to catch up, compare surgery scars and plans for our 40th birthdays. As I left the restaurant someone stopped me at the door.
“This is a $5 gift certificate to use at the restaurant on your next visit.”
I am thoroughly convinced that when you look for abundance you start to see it everywhere. In nooks and crannies, and in smiles on faces too.
Already this week I have received a seat upgrade on a plane and a $5 coupon for a local restaurant in town, plus a bonus night out with a good friend.
Keep the abundance train going I say.
Are you looking for abundance?
