In keeping with my promise to seek abundance, here’s my Abundance Photo of the Day.
If you were with me yesterday you saw the BEFORE shot. And this is the AFTER:
It’s all part of the Art Along The Rogue street art festival. And when I say street, I mean ROAD, right on the pavement.
This year’s theme is dedicated to movie posters. I’m sure you will recognize a few of these:
There’s something amazing about watching something come to life, right before your eyes. Especially when it comes to art.
Most art is typically seen as a final product, a final presentation, framed and hung.
But this art, street art, came to life right before our eyes. And since it’s temporary it will eventually wash away or be driven over and carried away or covered up.
It is temporary.
Which makes it precious.
Tonight we sit and wait for news on Uncle Bob.
He took a fall and has been in the hospital for two days. We have waited for the phone to ring for the last 24 hours. We have waited for updates. For news. For direction of what to do.
Uncle Bob is a father, grandfather, uncle, brother, cousin, son….and so much more. But in this moment of waiting we are all in a precious moment of life.
As we wait for the phone to ring it makes me feel this predicament of life. It’s so wonderful, and beautiful, and temporary.
And I think that’s what makes it all so precious.
Like a work of art.
May you hug your family and hold your memories tight.
