Day 142: just do it already

22 May

Today was Tory Johnson‘s Spark and Hustle tour stop here in New York City.

I was present and accountable and delightfully representing Women on Fire who sponsored the event today. Even better, I was with the one and only, Janette Barber of Sirius XM Stars. That’s inspiration in a nutshell if you ask me!

The day was full of speakers and inspiration from both small business owners and uber successful women like Laura Geller, Lisa Price and Liz Lange.

I couldn’t help but chuckle when I opened up one of our free gifts — SPACKLE.  But, not just any kind of spackle, this special kind of magic makes your face sparkle.

And, then, of course, who can forget the magic of Barbara Corcoran who took the stage as today’s final speaker and inspiration extraordinaire.

But, what stood out most to me, beyond the freebies, fun, friendship, and phenomenal women, was this overriding theme that everyone seemed to hit on…

Just do it.

Whatever it is that you want.
Do. It. Don’t wait for approval.

Whatever it is that you are afraid of…
Just get over it. It’s not as scary as you think.

Whatever it is that you know in your heart you want to do, create, run, build, launch, fly…

Do. It. Already.
Just do it.

Good advice. It’s one of the things that the nice voices in my head keep saying to me. Maybe I’ll start listening to them.

Isn’t that the trick? Good goal for all of us, right!? xo~Jamie
