Cozy PJs and a scrumptious pillow to lay my head on tonight; a gorgeous sunny day to warm a 16 degree day; several brave conversations today.

Healthy adult children. A job that’s both fun and challenging. A new novel to start tonight.

Oh, new novel. How novel! Want to share? What are you reading? 🙂 xoxo

Gratitude makes relationships stronger. It allows you to look at the good instead of dwell on the bad. Truly one of my favorite attributes in my spouse!

    • Jamie March 20, 2013 at 11:45 AM #

Well said Mr. Quigley. I’m quoting you!

My wonderful friend Allison, retail therapy, and knowing that my lungs are holding strong, even if the rest of me isn’t! I’ll take it!

    • Jamie March 20, 2013 at 11:44 AM #

You are strong Nicki, even when it doesn’t feel like it 😉 That I know is true.

    1. My hat, scarf, and gloves combination.
    2. Friendly strangers.
    3. Public libraries and their inhabitants.

      must see hat/scarf/gloves… pic?

: ) My combo actually varies, depending on attire and artistic expression; my gratitude is more for the incredible shield they provide from “the Hawk” (aka. the wind of Chicago.)

Lunch with a former high school class mate. Sunshine! A warm bed!!

Sunshines rules. I think we are all in the mood for spring 😉 But nothing is better than a long-time friend.

Blue skies (any skies for that matter!), my helpful husband, my gift of giving others sunshine on their cloudy days

    • Jamie March 20, 2013 at 11:43 AM #

Love, especially love the sunshine! Thanks Amy, grateful!

    I’m grateful today for:
    1) My beautiful 12 year old niece, Torea
    2) A work colleague who introduces new people to me and my travel, food & wine microblogging. Inspires me to get up a “real” blog!
    3) Thursday, almost Friday! Definitely need to transition to a new job so I’m not counting down the days each week. 😎
