BLOG – GIFT DAY 294 :: an abundance of sox

21 Oct

In keeping with my promise to seek abundance this year, here’s my Abundance Photo of the Day… Lansdowne Street!

Before we left Boston and trekked across the country to this other coast, Justin made sure we saw one last Red Sox game in Fenway Park.

I originally put up a stink… I mean, we had to pack, there were cars to ready, boxes to move, people to see. So. Much. To. Do.

It felt like a waste of time.
Boy was I wrong.

I am so happy that we sat inside Fenway Park one more time, that we shared that moment together… especially now as this team heads to the World Series.

It reminds me that there is always time.

We can always squeeze in more time for the things that matter, the things that bring us joy, and the moments we will never forget.

Go. Sox.

More tomorrow.

Jaime, I went to my first Red Sox game in Fenway last April. What a great experience (and ball park)! I also saw the Cardinals play in June. How cool to see both Series teams this year. Oh yeah, both teams won their games. I predict the winning team this year will wear red! I am a Cardinals fan, so as much as I loved going to Fenway, we’re going to be friendly rivals for the next week or so. Until then, “Take me out to the ball game…”

I loved your idea: ” We can always squeeze in more time for the things that matter, the things that bring us joy, and the moments we will never forget.” First time I’ve stolen your line here, but it’s so true I don’t feel guilty. Thanks for your loving friendship.
