BLOG – GIFT DAY 323 a month of inspiration :: magic or super hero

19 Nov

Today, in my month-long nod to inspiration, I share an age-old question.

If you could have any super power what would it be?

I just watched The Hunger Games this week (I know, late to the party) but with the release of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire  Justin and my sister insisted that I see it.

So I did. With popcorn in one hand and the other hand covering my eyes. It was brutal for me to sit through it in some places. I mean, really, did we have to kill Rue? In the end, I was moved. And isn’t that movies are for?

It inspired me, mostly about the art of stories and story telling. It also reminded me about the work of Joseph Campbell and the hero’s journey.

Which brings me to tonight. I am home working and watching television simultaneously. One screen in front of me is work, the other is play broadcasting Agents of Shield and now the David Blaine special.

Is it real or magic?
It’s a good question. It has me stargazing and confused. And utterly amazed. And wondering…

If you could have any super power what would be it?
Power?
Flight?
Strength?
Magic?

More tomorrow.
Lovemore {fearless!}
Jamie

{what’s your super power?}
