JAMIE’S BLOG – DAY 360 :: keeping calm

26 Dec

I once had a favorite coffee cup. It was bright red with white letters that spelled out:  “Keep Calm and Carry On.”  I carried it around with me from the Vineyard to Naples and back again.

And then it broke. I was devastated.

And now I have a replacement, thanks to a few Christmas Angels.

This time it reads:  “Don’t Tell Me To Keep Calm.”

Seems fitting. Really almost perfect in this year of peak performance.
(Thank you Nancy!)

If there is anything I have learned it is how to continue to carry on, even when the world turns upside down, wound around, throwing me on the ground and it’s utterly impossible to just keep calm.

Because it’s most important to carry on.
Carry on. Carry on. Carry on.
Even when you can’t keep calm.

And I’ll drink to that.

More tomorrow.
