JAMIE’S BLOG – DAY 67 :: blissful watching

8 Mar
Our second Camila tree has blossomed. This one has blooms in a dark pink rosy red.

It’s hard not to feel a bit of bliss blossoming when these flowers are blooming in the yard.

It helps that we have more light at night now. And that the grass smells of freshly cut summer scents. The birds are chirping louder now. Green tips have returned to the brown branches all around.

I am blissfully watching Spring’s arrival. It’s like a ticker tape parade around here, between the scents, the smells and sights popping all around.

Watching nature form the sidelines makes me want to be on the lookout for that one moment each day that makes time stop.

Just long enough to count my blessings.
And bloom.

More tomorrow.
Lovemore, do more.

  {what are you watching?}

    What am I watching? The snowbanks – not spring yet here!

    Thanks for these promises of spring, Jamie. It’s getting warmer here, but everything still looks dead. Will let you know when the forsythia blooms, usually the first harbinger in Iowa.
