JAMIE’S BLOG – DAY 97 :: worst mistake ever

9 Apr

This blog is always the last thing I do at night. I never really know what I’m going to write until I start typing. I think I know exactly what I’m going to say or share  …and it changes as soon as my fingers touch the computer keys.

Sometimes the writing feels completely inspired. Some nights it’s a huge struggle to finish a coherent sentence before my eyelids fall asleep right before my very eyes. And other nights it feels like pure channeling. I never really know what words are going to land on this screen in front of me.

But tonight, I saw a headline that made me stop:

The night I spent in jail showed me why
mistakes inspire the best ideas.
 by Richard Branson.

It popped into my inbox. I clicked. I read the article. Fascinating. And it has me asking… Can our biggest blunders lead to our biggest bliss?

I’ve made enough mistakes to know they can be guides, if only we listen, learn and live differently.

So tonight I’m wondering if maybe those are really not mistakes but Bliss Blunders? A sliver of something better whispering, knocking, crashing down the door to a better something just waiting on the other side?

Knock. Knock.

More tomorrow.

  {your biggest bliss blunder?}
