JAMIE’S BLOG – YEAR 6 – YOGA DAY 188 :: serendipity

13 Jul

Day 188: Just in time.

I love serendipity. Just the sound of the word makes me happy. And there is the movie too, which, come on, who doesn’t love a little serendipity and
John Cusak all mixed together?

Today, I felt the strong winds of serendipity at my back. First Bank of America called to let me know there was fraud on my account (thank you!). Then, as I walked to the nearest BOA to retrieve a new card and fix my account I felt a few raindrops. Teeny, tiny drops. Barely even there. But as soon as I opened the door to the bank the sky opened up.

It poured. I believe the term is cats and dogs. Or, as the bank teller said… gotta love Chicago weather. You never know what to expect.

But I kind of knew what to expect.
I’m so happy the bank caught the issues before I did. I am so happy it was so easy to fix. And I was so happy to not get caught in that rainstorm.

It all has me wondering, why don’t we all just walk around expecting the best. Expecting easy. Ridiculously easy.

I kind of like the sound of that.
And serendipity.

More tomorrow.

P.S. and now I yo-ga.
