In the DIY category, I’ve always been more of a painter. A calligrapher. An ink on paper sort of girl. But this year, it seems that yarn is calling my name.
And do you know what is full of heaping amounts of JOY?
Finishing something.
Putting the last bit on a project.
Placing the final ribbon around it.
The pièce de résistance.
For me, on this night, it was this. My first blanket. Pup included!
This project is complete.
They say the journey is what we should enjoy most… enjoy the ride!
But I have to admit, I kind of like marveling at the finished product.
Oh, joy.
