I drove past the water tonight and saw a beautiful sunset. Of course, I wanted to take a photo but I was driving. So instead of capturing the image on my phone, I captured the moment in my head.
This is what I heard:
The sunrise brings hope, the sunset reflects love, and who you watch them with creates joy.
I have long believed that life is about people –the relationships and people we have in our lives. It first became clear when I was diagnosed with cancer at age seventeen. There was a little voice inside of me that made it very clear — life is about people.
Ever since that moment, I have believed it and lived for it.
The people in our lives create joy.
Enjoy each moment. Enjoy the people.
