JAMIE’S BLOG – YEAR 8 – DAY 145 :: practicing joy

Today, the Joy Breaks continue… In fact, in the Joy Break department, I received a message from a dear friend wondering what I am doing for a Joy Break… as in, how do they work.

So here’s what I wrote back to her:

I’m using music for short bursts. Spotify is my friend.

I did a fast meditation yesterday where I saw a white light go through every cell of my body and fill it with joy (a little out there but it felt great).

I walked Pup outside, even though he is so delicate right now and really tried to ignore his skin and bones body and instead connect with him as he was soaking up the sunshine.

Then, when I looked at social media, I read everyone’s updates on my feed and smiled at each one, trying to be genuinely excited for each of them – because admittedly, sometimes social media just makes me jealous 😉

I might use this for my post tonight… it’s a good question.  

And I did use this for my post tonight!
So the question is… What is your Joy Break?
