We just returned home from a music festival, waffles, and a lot of love. Tonight, Florence and the Machine lit up the big stage with more than bright lights and sweet songs. She lit up everything with love. Including the audience, asking everyone to hug a stranger. As she said, “I believe in love.”
My sentiment exactly. Love wins. But so do waffles.
Today I learned that joy can be found in a post-concert corner with a waffle shop. Add a little Nutella, strawberries, and bananas for pure joy, and you have the best way to wait for an UBER.
My feet may be sore but my heart is full of love. Thank you, Florence (and waffles).
