{the best}
Last night I wrote about this paint splash that Justin found on our wall.
And tonight, I’m sharing what it reminds us of… or who it reminds us of! It’s #1 Pup, of course.

It seems like such a sign. As if Pup had a hand in helping us find a new home after we said goodbye to him. He couldn’t make the cross-country move with us, but somehow he made it here anyway. His marking splashed across a wall in the bathroom shower. It was just a mistake by the painters, but to us it’s another reason to believe we were meant to be here.
On my plane ride home yesterday I sat next to an 82-year-old man who just buried his wife. He was flying “home” without his love for the first time in 62-years. He told me that was okay because “as long as people are alive who remember her, she will always be around.”
It’s always hard to lose someone, anyone, even a pet. But this just reminds me that we never really lose anyone as long as they are in our hearts. And maybe even reflected on our walls.
What joy.
More tomorrow… Lovemore,
Jamie
