I am sitting here tonight thinking about trust… and the word “allow” keeps coming to mind. Allowing is not an easy thing for me to do, it has no action, no planning, no checklist attached to it. It also has no judgment either.
So tonight’s lesson in trust is to allow it to unfold. All the things that I want to grasp tightly and control are telling me to just relax and allow. This… is the hard part of trust, relaxing and allowing.
The best advice I have been given when I want to control, plan, react, and take action is… “now, that is interesting.” It’s a way to sit back and watch the movie and the story unfold so you get a better perspective.
And to that, I say, I am planning to allow it to unfold.
