It’s Day 29. Almost a month into trust and I feel like I really haven’t figured it out yet. So I looked up the definition again, you know, just as a gut check.
“To hope and expect that something is true….” is one way of defining trust as a verb. I like verbs because I like taking action. I don’t like sitting around waiting for others. I don’t feel comfortable when I’m not in control. And I don’t like waiting for results.
Funny thing is… trust doesn’t care about those things at all. Trust runs on hope. And hope is something that feels really good to me, yet out of my control.
So maybe this year, this Trust Promise is teaching me to build up reservoirs of hope as my action verb.

Hope. Hope. Hope. Hope.
I’m getting used to the sound of that….
Lovemore,
Jamie
