I went into work today… on a Saturday. I know, drat. I woke up this morning so grateful to sleep in and then as I rubbed the sleep out of my eyes I remembered I had to get up, get dressed, put on makeup and go to work.
Then, it turned out that I didn’t need to be there. It’s a long story, but the punchline is that it really wasn’t mandatory for me to be there today and I could have slept in had I known. I could have done so many other things, but alas, that is now the past.
I had a small suspicion that the day would turn out this way right about the time my head hit the pillow last night. I should have paid attention to my gut. I should have listened. I should have listened to all the wisdom that lies within.
Our guts are very intelligent radar systems. Built to inform us if only we would stop for a moment and listen to the whispers from within.
Trust me!
