JAMIE’S BLOG – YEAR 9 – DAY 85 :: trust your daily routine

27 Mar

I don’t think much about my daily routine because it happens daily. Same milestones usually ending with me in front of my computer writing a blog. Then brushing my teeth. Going to bed.

Then it starts all over again. Alarm clock goes off, I begin taking my thyroid pills, taking a shower, getting dressed, taking the dog out, taking my keys out, starting the car. Sometimes I skip a step like Justin will take the dog out. But mostly, this is the routine.

We don’t think much about routines because they are the glue of what keeps our sanity and our schedules together. We trust them.

So tonight I was thinking about trust and my routine and if there is a way to add more trust to my day.

It’s an interesting question. What if I trusted myself to eat more vegetables or exercise more? What would it take to create more trust in new or better routines? I’m not sure of the answer but I like asking the questions.

Trust me!
More tomorrow.
