I’m headed to the Carribean (for a work trip!) and I have to say I’m trusting that I have everything I need. Packed. In my one bulging bag.
The mantra in my head is saying, “Go with the flow, receive all that comes your way.” Even if my bag is over 50 pounds? Yes!

It was hot here today, in such a good way. As if Mother Nature knew we missed the sun and needed a dose of it for a three-day weekend. Thank you, Mother Nature. We appreciated it.
We also found the best new organic juice bar, Lido (well, Justin found it!). It may be our new favorite. It was the perfect light treat for a hot day. There was so much lightness and light around me today made me think about the power of light and shining your light.
It also reminded me of the power of light, how one little spark can grow into a flame. So shine your light bright, start with a flicker and let it grow.

It’s Mayhem around here, and we did it. Today was our final day of Mayhem, i.e. OrangeTheory’s excuse to kick your butt for a week in order to earn a free hat and towel. I don’t think I have never been so proud of a hat and towel before in my life.
Being on this side of the challenge reminds me that half of it was really mental, not physical. Even though my body aches I know it was mind over matter to complete 5 Mayhem workouts.
And this is what brings me back to trust. You have to trust that you already have what you need to do what you want… even if your lungs, legs and abs are screaming out in pain.
Even if it is Mayhem, you can do this.

Time is a funny thing. It goes by so fast when reading a good book, watching a great movie or eating an amazing meal. And yet it goes by so slow when running on a treadmill
Today was Day 4 of our Mayhem challenge at OrangeTheory, and it was all out mayhem. During the start of a 90-second all-out run, our coach yelled, “You can do anything for 90 seconds!”
The words sounded so familiar. It’s what I say all the time. “You can do anything for a year.” Of course, I’m usually talking about writing a blog post from the couch or making a promise from my heart, neither of which require you to sweat with side splints, running up an incline trying not to toss your cookies.
And yet there is so much truth in that phrase, “You can do anything for _______”.
Just fill in the blank with your greatest timing challenge. Sometimes it’s a year of making a promise, sometimes it’s a month, or a week, or a day going after your goals … and sometimes it is just 90-seconds (on a treadmill).
No matter your timeframe, you go this. Even in it makes you sweat.
