If there is one thing about returning to Boston this year, it is for the love of sports. We are sitting on the edge of our seats for the Red Sox tonight. As the game goes into extra innings we are going into extra prayers for the biggest of them all, Big Papi.
Just last week we wore our Big Papi jerseys to the game. Even though he hasn’t played for years now, we still hold a space in our hearts for the man, the myth, the legend, Number 34. And now, we pray for his speedy recovery.
It seems Big Papi is also on his way back to Boston, this time for medical care. In this surreal moment of life there are so many prayers and love in the world for this Boston hero, and I am holding onto TRUST that all will be well.
All sports are built on love, trust, and prayers, especially in key game moments. This seems to be one of them. You got this, Big Papi!
