I’ve decided that we all need a Dream Trust. A trustworthy set of friends and supporters who see our vision even brighter than we ever could on our own. A Dream Trust is a small group of humans (maybe one…and maybe just a trustworthy dog too) who sits next to your dream and waters it, tends to it, and watches it grow.
Too many dreams get squashed right before they take root.
If we all looked after our dreams and maybe those of one other person, it would be like focusing on the sunshine-to-rain quotient. Or, what it takes for seeds to sprout, grow and bloom.
Instead of focusing on the manufactured news or depressing moment of the day, or the what’s-wrong-with-the-world-now moment, the Dream Trust would hold tightly to all that is possible, even for one minute a day. Which adds up to hours, and then days, and years and well, many dreams realized.
And while not every dream is meant to come true (some are just meant to introduce us to our next dream) every dream is worth a Dream Trust.
Trust me!
