JAMIE’S BLOG – YEAR 7 – KINDNESS  DAY 5 :: kindness challenge

Respect.

I’ve been thinking a lot about kindness – the intentional kind. I keep hearing the word RESPECT. It seems they go hand-in-hand. I’m also remembering something I know — deeply know and understand — words are free. And maybe the most powerful form of respect.

So… with that thought, tonight, I’m throwing out an Intentional Acts of Kindness Challenge!

Challenge #1:  Practice Respect: 
If you choose to accept this challenge, try one of the following acts:
– admire someone with kind words
– point out a particular and appreciated detail with kind words 
– use thoughtful words to compliment someone on an achievement

I will be playing along… and I would love to hear how it goes for you too. 😉

JAMIE’S BLOG – YEAR 7 – KINDNESS  DAY 4 :: bubbles bubbles bubbles

Bath.

It’s Day 4 over here of my Kindness Promise. I have to admit I wasn’t really sure where to start or what to do. So I took a bath. A bubble bath. I really hot, warm, overflowing bath.

That’s not really out of the ordinary for me. I take baths a lot. Almost every night when I have time. So what makes tonight different? I guess I just thought it was a “kind” thing to do for myself.

It’s simple.
A bath.
Warm water.
Bubbles.

I suppose it’s an act of kindness if I remember to acknowledge how calm it makes me. How peaceful it is to put the world on pause for a few bubbles.

There is special kind of kindness in awareness.
May you be aware, kind soul, may you be aware.

Plan On.

It’s Day 3! And today is easy peasy. I’m sharing a little gift with you. It comes with a whole bunch of kindness from my heart. It also comes from an entire year of planning.

This is my planner. I created it for myself last year. Then I used it every day of 2016. It helped me stay on track. But it wasn’t perfect… so I updated it with all the things that worked. And removed the rest.

So, in a way, it’s perfected. But… nothing is every really PERFECT so here’s my wish for you:

2. Use it, love it up, doodle on it, be bold with your goalicious self
