JAMIE’S BLOG – YEAR 7 – KINDNESS  DAY 358 :: christmas kindness

24 Dec
{be}

Today I continue the month of Christmas Kindness!

We decked the halls tonight. Football. Sunday. Church. Family. Games. Elf on a Shelf. Christmas Eve dinner. Tracking Santa’s sleigh on an app. Calling family.

It all makes for a beautiful tradition. And the kindest moment of all was just being there.

Tonight, in church, the pastor spoke of the importance of “being” is the kindest gift of all. The biggest gift we can share. The most we can possibly give to those we love.

And I agree.
So, here’s to being.
Thank you for being here. May you have a very Merry Christmas and beautiful holiday traditions.

What could be more kind?

More tomorrow…

Lovemore,
Jamie

JAMIE’S BLOG – YEAR 7 – KINDNESS  DAY 262 :: kindness is…

18 Sep

Strong.

This was shared with me today. I couldn’t agree more.

If kindness is teaching me anything, it is this:
Being strong.
Is Being kind.

And….
Being kind.
Is Being strong.

More tomorrow….

Lovemore,
Jamie

JAMIE’S BLOG – DAY 188 :: as the sun sets

12 Jul
Justin took this photo a few days ago. When the sky was surprisingly lit with orange and pink clouds. It was breathtaking really.

Tonight, we recounted all the sunsets we have seen together. From Twin Falls, Idaho, to Florence, Oregon to Menemsha on Martha’s Vineyard. From the stands at Fenway, to the beaches of Florida and Salyulita, Mexico to the sky above us tonight in Grants Pass, Oregon — and many other places in between.

They have all been so different. So beautiful in their own right. From ocean waters to wildfire reflections, the sky has changed. Every night.

It’s something so easy to overlook because it just happens. The night sky. Different. Unique. Every night.

And that reminds me that sometimes the most important moment of the day is right there. Setting. Before your very eyes. A reminder of one day gone, a new one about to begin.

And that’s worth looking at. Special all on it’s own.
Blissful really.

More tomorrow.

Lovemore,
Jamie
