JAMIE’S BLOG – YEAR 7 – KINDNESS  DAY 91 :: the flowers are coming

4 Apr

Spring.

It’s my favorite time of year. Flower blooming season. And… the tulips are here! (At least at the grocery store).

I think this might be Mother Nature’s kindest and prettiest act of intentional kindness.

More tomorrow….
Lovemore,
Jamie

JAMIE’S BLOG – YEAR 6 – YOGA DAY 107 :: sunday sunny sunday

17 Apr

Day 107: Ah, Spring.

The sun was out today and it makes me “hope” that means spring is really, really, really, truly here!

So in honor of Spring, I found these free spring printables from Clean and Scentsible.

Enjoy!
And now… on to yoga.

More tomorrow.

Jamie

JAMIE’S BLOG – YEAR 6 – YOGA DAY 64 :: bloomin’ and breathing

5 Mar

Day 64. Bloom!

We may have given up our garden with our move North… but I still love capturing the beauty of Spring flowers. So tonight, I share these from Jaynane’s garden.

I realize I am also witnessing two other little flowers bloom and grow as well, in the form of our little nieces. These girls are blooming right before my eyes.

Yoga is teaching me to breathe. And breathing is teaching me to take in each and every moment, even the ones that seem to be going way …too …fast.

Bloom. Bloom. Bloom.

More tomorrow.
Lovemore,
Jamie

JAMIE’S BLOG – YEAR 6 – YOGA DAY 53 :: beautiful empty

23 Feb

Day 53. Vast.

There are days when I come to this blog feeling empty. And, really, it’s a beautiful thing. Beautifully empty. No pressure of words that need to come spilling out. No thoughts that have been collecting and building up steam ready to burst forth.

It is beautiful in its own way, really. Just being. Beholding. Be Hold. Just be.

So instead of too many words, tonight, I will share something that is about to burst. A flower. In front of my office window.

Be. Hold.

More tomorrow.
Lovemore,
Jamie

P.S. Yoga done!

JAMIE’S BLOG – DAY 86 :: from the kale files

27 Mar

Happy Friday.

On this March Madness ramp up I am amazed at the madness happening in the garden. We haven’t done anything to it for months and yet the kale still grew through the winter.

And now it has turned to flowers. Who knew kale did this? Okay, maybe most people did, but I had no idea. It’s probably against some sort of gardening protocol but we’re still learning.

Spring is officially here. Even the kale is blooming.

Something else is blooming this spring too… I’m launching #LoveMoreDoMore #Sundays this weekend! They are insightful interviews with people who are doing amazing things, all in the name of learning more and sharing more…. so that you can do more!

JAMIE’S BLOG – DAY 67 :: blissful watching

8 Mar
Our second Camila tree has blossomed. This one has blooms in a dark pink rosy red.

It’s hard not to feel a bit of bliss blossoming when these flowers are blooming in the yard.

It helps that we have more light at night now. And that the grass smells of freshly cut summer scents. The birds are chirping louder now. Green tips have returned to the brown branches all around.

I am blissfully watching Spring’s arrival. It’s like a ticker tape parade around here, between the scents, the smells and sights popping all around.

Watching nature form the sidelines makes me want to be on the lookout for that one moment each day that makes time stop.

Just long enough to count my blessings.
And bloom.

More tomorrow.
Lovemore, do more.
Jamie

Jamie’s BLOG – DAY 204 :: bloom on

One day bloom….

This little flower bloomed today. It will be gone tomorrow.
Sigh.
Wow.
Beauty.

Jamie’s BLOG – DAY 180 :: a tiny bloom is still a bloom

27 Jun

We have a new addition to the garden. It’s just the tiniest of blooms, but it’s a start.

And it’s a reminder to me that even this teeny, tiny bundle of blooms is still a bloom of something beautiful.

More tomorrow.
Lovemore,
Jamie

{have a beautiful weekend}

Jamie’s BLOG – DAY 109 :: happy easter …and… it’s purple!

20 Apr

We had an Easter surprise… the Rhodies bloomed today.
And they are purple!

We’ve been wondering what color these would become and now we know. Ironically, Mama Sling’s favorite color was purple. Or, maybe it’s not ironic…

So that’s my spot of beauty for the day. Here’s to celebrating new things blooming.

More tomorrow.
Lovemore,
Jamie
