JAMIE’S BLOG – DAY 82 :: monday bliss: national puppy day

23 Mar

It’s a Monday. But if ever there were a day to talk bliss it’s this: National Puppy Day!

In order to properly celebrate I resurrect the cutest puppy photo I ever took:

This puppy has turned into the craziest little dog ever …but the most loving creatue I’ve ever met. And… well…energetic too.Today was also a celebration of someone I never knew: Emmy Noether. Google told me so, with the illustration that greeted me all day long above the search bar. I did a little research and it seems Emmy was pretty amazing. Einstein thought so, and well, I don’t know how you get a better reference than that.

“In the judgment of the most competent living mathematicians,” penned the great man (Einstein), “Fräulein Noether was the most significant creative mathematical genius thus far produced since the higher education of women began.”

Speaking of mathematicians…. Today also had me “Raven” about an NFL play who is a mathematician. This is exactly what the NFL needs to bliss out their reputation if you want to know my humble marketing opinion. (Besides, I am done with basketball. My bracket is broken. Go Pats!)

All this aside, the biggest bliss moment of the day was this: an empty email in-box. I cleaned it out. Zero pending emails. It may only last for 3.5 seconds but man it feels good!

Even more blissful than puppies.

More tomorrow.

  {what brought you bliss today?}

Day 19: better than wrinkle cream

19 Jan

Tonight I again listened to Donna Eden share her wisdom about energy medicine on an international conference call.

She described how energy medicine techniques can help heal everything from disease to stress to even those pesky wrinkles forming in the crease of my eyes.

The cure for wrinkles?
Now that’s good medicine if you ask me!

The reasoning?
Happiness plumps up cells.
Fear makes DNA taut.

As Donna described, fear and disease are bad energy.  Fear leads to poor decisions and habits.  Bad habits lead to blocked energy, which forms disease.  What a vicious cycle.

The good news is we are hardwired for love and joy.
Beyond some simple energy techniques, Donna reminded everyone to:
“Tap into your good” and “Remember how beautiful you are.”

If Einstein said, “Everything is energy” and Gandhi said, “Where there is love there is life” then I say, “Slather thy face with the energy of love.”

Why not?
It could be even better than wrinkle cream.
