JAMIE’S BLOG – YEAR 8 – DAY 100 :: 100 days to find joy

9 Apr
{day 100}

It’s Day 100. The first line of demarcation for this year and this promise of Joy. Can you believe it’s here? What does Day 100 mean to you?

  • 100 days of school?
  • 100 days of work?
  • 100 days of dreaming?
  • 100 days of training?
This is a milestone, for sure. Of your life — and your year. What have you done with it? I have been Joying-Up. If that’s a phrase. Actually, I think it should be — but let’s shorten it to Joy-Up!

Over these last 100 days, Joy has been teaching me to focus on what I want, what I love and what matters most. Joy has been right by my side, holding my hand when I make a wrong turn and gently bringing me back into alignment.

And, most of all, Joy has been reminding me that we are what we think. We create what we think about. Then we experience what we created. And the cycle goes on.

So what have you been focusing on for the last 100 days?
What will you focus on for the next 100 days of this year?

Joy is a powerful force – like Jedi mind tricks.
You can use it to your advantage.

More tomorrow…

Lovemore,
Jamie

JAMIE’S BLOG – YEAR 8 – DAY 51 :: inner peace

21 Feb
{true joy}

I’ve been thinking a lot about tough skin this week. It’s come up a couple times. As a sensitive soul, I have been told more than once in my life that I need to have thicker skin.

But now I know, it’s the sensitive ones that change the world. It’s the sensitive ones that feel so deeply they have to speak up. It’s the sensitive ones that make a difference.

I’ve been watching these young teenagers speak up over the last week. About their truth. About their anger. About what they think needs to change. And it’s so reassuring to me.

Being sensitive is a direct connection from heart to soul. It’s a filter that doesn’t allow anything else in but the truth to come out. It also requires a sense of inner peace, to be strong enough to feel what’s real.

You don’t need tough skin when you have inner peace.

More tomorrow…

Lovemore,
Jamie
