JAMIE’S BLOG – YEAR 9 – DAY 212 :: trust the view

31 Jul

My body and brain are finally catching up to the week. Tomorrow is Thursday but it feels like it should be Tuesday! Yes… I’m that slow this week.

But as I sit here, I am reminded to trust the view in front of me. To be where I am. To enjoy what I have and to take a moment to take it all in (even if it is already Wednesday!).

Here’s to Wednesday and Thursday… and then Friday!
Trust me!

More tomorrow.

JAMIE’S BLOG – DAY 235 :: tangled

29 Aug

Okay, I did it. Two Zentangles in two days.

Granted, they are not professionalized versions of art… but they do zen me out. And they almost look better together….

Which reminds me… sometimes it’s not the super finite details that matter.
Rather, it’s the big picture all bound together with time, depth and perspective.

Ah, Zentangle how you Zen-teach me.

More tomorrow.

Jamie’s BLOG – DAY 137 :: life is beautiful

18 May

As Sunday winds down I am compelled to share something beautiful:  plates!

But not just any plates. Inspiring. Beautiful. Quotable.

I received them as a gift, but the gift is really this, the reminder.
Life is beautiful. Everything has beauty.

It’s all just a matter of how we/you/I see it.
What do you see?

More tomorrow.

{what’s beautiful to you right now?}

2014 BLOG – DAY 23 :: peak performance: mental

23 Jan

Sometimes peak performance is all mental.

And to that point, tonight I share this:

It’s all perspective isn’t it?
And optimism.
And the story we tell ourselves.

What stories are you telling yourself?

More tomorrow.
Lovemore {fearless}

{what stories are you telling?}
